RADIANT PARTITION WALLS IN DESIO'S HOSPITAL
The new Dialysis Centre build with Fosam's radiant partition walls system

In the mid of December 2005, it has been inaugurated in Desio’s General Hospital, the first Dialysis Centre in Italy realized with Radiating Partition Walls. The innovative project is getting goods results and great opinions. It becomes the best practice in the production of many new Centre in development.

In the new Centre, constituted by 20 patient spots, the Radiating Partition Walls have been installed everywhere, either in the real Dialysis area as well as the adjacent premises: as the waiting areas, restrooms, medical premises and service rooms.
The Partition Walls obviously heat and cool the premises on a total surface of 370 square meters of floor, but the most meaningful data that have emerged since the beginning, is that the radiating effect produced and induced from the Partition Walls on the patients, is having 'therapeutic' effects.

As per confirmation of the basic physical principle of the radiating systems, according to which the radiation determines the exchange of heat between bodies and objects generating an optimal condition of well-being, the patients during the dialysis treatment do not complain anymore about feeling cold, a sensation that normally accompanied them constantly during the therapy in air conditioned environments with traditional systems (fan coils).
